 Stage 1: To be completed by the end of the 2nd week in January

Research ‘day out’ activities for you and your family to enjoy in Wales.

During this research you will need to :

• compare 3 different activities
• Share your research with your family and choose a favourite day out activity together

HINT:

• You can use leaflets, websites and questionnaires to help you with your  research.
• To show how you chose your favourite, you could use a tally chart, bar chart, video, to justify your decision.

Complete your research on the 3 activities and your chosen favourite ‘day out’ in your online booklet which is set as an assignment on Teams.

During the third week in January, you will feedback your research and chosen ‘day out’ to the class.

 Stage 2: To be completed by the end of the last week in January

Find the total cost for you and your family to enjoy your chosen day out.  Please take in to consideration the cost for an adult and child and keep an eye out for family tickets or discounts.

For the total cost of your day out, you will need to include travel costs (car, bus, train), food cost (packed lunch or restaurants) and spending money.

Complete your costings in your online booklet on Teams.

 Stage 3: To be completed by the end of the 2nd week in February

For your day to run smoothly you will need to create an itinerary for you and your family. Within your itinerary you will need detailed times for the day and instructions for your family e.g. Leave home at 9a.m. Catch 9:25am bus at Pontarddulais. 

Please use your research to help you with your itinerary and include as much detail as possible.

 Stage 4: Quiz to complete at end of project

This is the last task. Please take the quiz and answer all the questions.
